Summary

If you have Windows Mobile 6.5, then you definitely need to install this small CAB. Now you can automatically have your phone run the Screen Lock each time you turn it on. It works in WinMo 6.0 / 6.1 / 6.5 / 6.5.1 / 6.5.3, but it runs the best in WinMo 6.5 / 6.5.1 / 6.5.3 due to the newer lock screen it includes.

Features

• Automatically run the default Screen Lock upon... (fully customizable):
• Booting up your phone
• When the phone's screen dims; and you can choose to have the screen turn off upon locking from a screen dim
• When turning off your phone's screen (clicking the power button)
• When being called (you get treated to a fancier in-call screen, too)
• When calling someone else
• When calling and connected with someone else
• This will also enable the "slide to answer" or "slide to ignore" feature, so your phone doesn't pocket dial by accident
• Shows your upcoming appointments right on the lock screen
• Plays a sound when you unlock/lock the phone
• Set the delay time for when the screen will turn off after being locked
• Shows how many missed calls/txts/voicemails you have, and if you tap the slider, then it expands to show how many seperate calls/txts/voicemails you have. Then you can just slide the slider you want, (say the "Missed Texts" one) and it will take you straight to the missed text messages

Configuration

1. Simply download and install the CAB from your phone
2. After installing, the lockscreen is automatically enabled
3. To configure the settings, go to Start -> Settings -> System -> SmartLock

Settings Explained

• WM6.5 New Lock: Enables/disables the new Slide to Lock screen (only available to WM6.5 / WM6.5.1 / WM6.5.3)
• Boot Startup Lock Screen: Locks the screen upon booting up your phone
• Backlight Trigger Lock Screen: The screen locks when the backlight dims
• Stand-by Trigger Lock Screen: The screen locks when the screen turns off
• Incall Lock: Locks the screen when you recieve a call
• Outcall Lock: Locks the screen instantly after dialing a number
• Outcall Connected Lock: Locks the screen after you connect with a dialed number
• Keep Enabled when Charging: Allows the lock screen to be triggered while charging
• Lock Screen and then Stand-by: Doesn't do much
• Energy Optimization: Saves some energy hopefully!
• Enable Lock Sound: When unlocking/locking the phone, a sound will be triggered
• To change the sound...(1) Uncheck this option and close...(2) Rename your new sound files to unlock.wav and lock.wave...(3) Copy and replace them into the \Windows folder...(4) Re-enable this option in the settings!
• Delay Time: ## Seconds: The time that the locked screen will stay awake
