I'm trying to confirm this right now, but if your SMS's freeze up on you, then you have to re-flash the ROM in order to fix it.
- IM (That the default T-Mobile ROM had installed) - I recommend using Palringo IM, which is free and has multiple chat clients, including Facebook chat
