Windows Mobile 6.1 Build 21042/21043 Hybrid

Just as the name says, stability is the key. This is a ROM that is useable, stable, bug-free, and something that won't annoy you. You'll get a leaner ROM with loads of free RAM and not too many default programs using your CPU. Switching from Portrait to Landscape mode (sliding out the keyboard) is almost instantaneous, unlike the default T-Mobile ROM.

Not Installed Programs

• Office Mobile - You can buy Office from Handango or buy another Office program
• Windows Live - For your Live e-mail, messenger, contacts sync, and profile status updater; Download free. Take caution, Windows Live might cause Threaded SMS to freeze up. I'm trying to confirm this right now, but if your SMS's freeze up on you, then you have to re-flash the ROM in order to fix it.
• IM (That the default T-Mobile ROM had installed) - I recommend using Palringo IM, which is free and has multiple chat clients, including Facebook chat
• Adobe Reader - Free Download
• T-Zones - Who used it anyways???

Missing Features

• No Music Player tab in HTC Home, you can set that up yourself if you wish
• If you aren't using the T-Mobile network, then you must run Network Wizard (under Start -> Settings -> Connections) manually after flashing the ROM
• No MMS support pre-installed, which means you have to install Arcsoft yourself
