How to HardSPL your Touch Pro 2 (Only needed once)

If you want to flash a custom ROM, you will need to HardSPL your phone here first. Then you can flash your phone. If you already are HardSPLed, then please skip to these instructions.

HardSPL

1. First, download and unzip Step 1.
2. Then, connect your phone through USB to your PC. Make sure that ActiveSync is connected.
3. Now, run the Step 1.exe file that you extracted from the first step.
4. Click Flash Hard-SPL (Internet access is required for the program to run)
5. Press OK on the screen telling you to wait while it prepares...
6. Follow the remaining instructions in the program...
7. Once the program finishes successfully, you should have a black screen. The RUU should be launching now...
8. Follow through the steps there, checking the corresponding boxes, and clicking Next...
9. It will not Hard Reset as it says, so ignore that...
10. You should now be at the progress bar. It should only take 1 minute.
11. Now your device reboots, and it is done!
12. Go flash a ROM using the next instructions.
