How to Flash a Touch Pro 2 ROM - CDMA
So, you wanna get that crappy T-Mobile software off your phone finally? It's well worth it. Custom ROM's are a lot faster, a lot better, and a lot more fun. Just follow the simple instructions, and you'll be running your ROM in no time!
You must first be HardSPLed. Do that HERE. You only need to do that once.

Text Instructions
- You must first be HardSPLed. Do that HERE. You only need to do that once.
- Download your desired ROM. You'll find a list of the ROM's HERE. Just click download.
- Save the downloaded file somewhere, like to your desktop.
- You will most likely have to extract the downloaded file. If the extention type of the downloaded file is .RAR or .7z, you will need a program called 7zip to extract it. If the extention type is .ZIP, then just extract it using Windows.
- Once you have your folder extracted, your folder should contain a RomUpdateUtility.exe and a .NBH file. Run the RomUpdateUtility.exe file.
- Connect your cell phone to the computer through USB, and make sure ActiveSync is connected. If you want to be extra-secure, you can remove your SIM card (In case someone calls you, which could interrupt the proccess) and remove your Storage Card (because a program might try to automatically boot, interrupting the proccess). But I don't do those things.
- Once your phone is connected (and you backed up info, and have +50% battery level), follow the onscreen instructions in the RUU window. Check the boxes and click next on the windows.
- Finally, your phone should re-boot, and go into a "special" mode, where you will see a progress bar. That progress bar follows along with the bar on your computer. The flashing proccess has started, and can take about 10 minutes.
- Once finished, let the phone boot and setup, and then when prompted, finish configuring it! You are now using your new ROM!
TroubleShooting
Error [208]: File Open - Just click Exit, then try opening the CustomRUU.exe file again. Make sure you don't have any other ROM Update Utility windows open.
Error [260]: CONNECTION - Make sure that you connected your phone through USB to your PC, and that you selected ActiveSync connection. Also, make sure that the phone is on, of course. If your phone is left on the Red/Green/Blue screen, then that means your PC was attempting to install the driver for your phone, but couldn't install it in time. Simply give your PC some more time, wait for the Driver Installed Successfully message to pop up, and then run the CustomRUU.exe file once again! You can flash your phone on the Red/Green/Blue screen.
Error [262]: Update Error - You probably didn't
install HardSPL first. Otherwise, check your ActiveSync connection to your PC. Restart your PC and Phone and then try again.
