ActiveSync Issues
- Go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC
- Make sure "ActiveSync (Sync with Outlook)" is selected
- Uncheck the "Enable faster data synchronization" option
- Restart your phone and then try connecting ActiveSync again!
GPS Doesn't Connect
After flashing any ROM, GPS can take a while to lock for the first time.
- Enable AGPS to assist it: Start -> Settings -> System -> AGPS Settings, and check the Enable AGPS option
- Also, make sure to use the HTC GPSTool, found in the Start Menu. That will help the GPS to lock faster.
- Once you do that, open Google Maps (Or your GPS program), go to Menu -> Use GPS (check the option), and then let your phone sit for 10 minutes or so. Remember, GPS doesn't work well in big buildings. Enjoy!
Time Zone Issues
If you're on a newer Manila ROM, you may be having some time zone issues. To fix it:
- From the homescreen, click on the big clock
- Now click Add City -> (Type in city) -> Select City -> Select City Again
- And your time will be correct now!
YouTube doesn't load (AT&T)
When in the YouTube app, click on the Settings icon (upper right), select Video Playback Quality and pick Fast Download.
